Coalition of NGOs IDP Women's Association "Consent", Women's Information Center and Cultural-Humanitarian Fund "Sokhumi" continues the implementation of the project: "Strengthening the capacities of the regional and local administrations in the processes of Localization of the National Action Plan (NAP) Resolution 1325 and enhancing the dialogue and participation of women, including the most marginalized in those processes".
In November 2018, 3 civic forums were held by the Women's Association "Consent" in 3 target municipalities (Kaspi, Kareli and Gori) with participation of local municipalities, city hall, city council, local NGOs and local residents (both IDPs and residents of villages near the conflict division lines). As a result of the forum, were created three working groups, 10 members in each, which will actively work on the inclusion of the real needs of women and girls affected by the conflict in municipal plans.
The joint work on the implementation of these plans was continued at a training-seminar organized by the Association in Borjomi on 7th and 8th of December 2018. All three municipalities participated in the event -31 participants. To implement these plans, work has begun on roadmaps. The work was led by Julia Kharashvili, Maia Kuprava, Marina Pochkhua and Arina Tavakarashvili.
