On august 23rd 2018, IDP women association “consent” had arranged a certificate giving ceremony for the course graduates of “Leaders’ Academy” which was organized in the framework of “Together for our rights” in Zugdidi and nearby villages. Julia Kharashvili – the Chairperson of IDP women association “consent”, head of the training direction – Marina Pochkhua, the local representative of the association in Samegrelo - Marine Davitaia, program participants and representatives governmental institutions and NGOs have participated in the event. The event was conducted with the financial support of “BROT für die Welt”.
The program “Leader’s Academy” has already been implemented in 3 locations of Georgia (Kvemo Kartli, Shida Kartli) and in Samegrelo, for the local population of Zugdidi and nearby villages – Women and youth (under the age of 35). Program lasted for 3 months and covered 9 training modules. Certificates were issued according to the test scores. Every module and learning course was oriented on knowledge and awareness raising of the participants on each topic, on understanding the information properly and adjusting it to their needs in order to use it in practice.
